I closed my eyes and then opened them. They itched a bit, I thought it was allergies. Then I looked around and realized that the week was gone, again. A shy smile. I think I enjoyed it and now onto the next one. I dont think I have allergies, false alarm. I love spring. I hope it keeps going like this.

Things to be happy about

FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY
Well here I am. AT HOME. I opted not to go out because I am tired and i need to relax. But what do i really want? I just want to be silly. Or witty. or something. I am feeling very serious. I feel like I lost my sense of humor. I assume it is probably just because I am tired, but I do remember being tired in college and laughing my butt off.
I am now working alongside my boss in a big-wig pharmacutical company. (i suppose i should learn how to spell that word). I have an office. It is like a cave. I was tired of running around Madrid all day and I suppose I got what I wished for. This week was a big transition for me. I found myself going to the bathroom numerous times to hide. Well, not exactly to hide, but I think it was a natural reaction that has carried over from my childhood days of going to the potty during mass because i couldnt stand sitting in the pew for the full hour. Either way. I would be walking to the bathroom and stop and think "Why am I going to the bathroom?"
After two trips to the bathroom I later stole an office supply from the office supply room: One of those really inky pens in red, but the kind that doesnt smear. The other perk of the office is subsidized vending machines. It doesnt come out free, but coffee and bottled water are at 10 cents.
Wow. I am writing about the price of the things at the vending machine. Anyways, that about explains why i havent written lately.
Tomorrow is raining, luckily no climbing because "My fingers hurt" (in a grandmotherly voice). I will never forget that line because it often comes in handy. CADDYSHACK?
alright. my roommate just put a wonderful dish in front of me. mmmmm chicken roast with a sauce of red wine, raisins, and peach jam.

Does anyone else see what I see?
So im just relaxing and surfing around the net, keeping up on politics etc and I came across this book............. (Something struck me as interesting)
This is Ken Blackwell:
This is Ken Klukowski : He is often a writer for Foxnews and has blue eyes

Another lapse
There has been another break in my writing. That means that I have again fallen into the working too hard thing. There is a distinct workaholic gene in me that flares up when combined with the right conditions.
Anyways, If i am truely taking this teaching in Spain thing seriously, then I just made a decently big career move along side Javi who is also making some big moves. In between work it is NOT snowing here (as it is rumored to be in WI), which means we are in the MOUNTAINS.
We climbed 6 days over easter break and after a short week of work are headed back to Cuenca again tomorrow. Lately I have been eating, sleeping, and breathing climbing. I'm not really sure why, but I am anxious to get out of the city and out on the rocks.
You know when you havent spoken with someone for a long time and you dont know where to start............ its happening. I'll report back after my weekend.
